How do I control course and lesson visibility for a class?

Change Visibility

1. Open the class.
2. Find the assigned course in the class course list.
3. Use the course visibility control to show or hide the whole course for students.
4. Expand or open the course's lesson list.
5. Use each lesson visibility control to show or hide a specific lesson.
6. Confirm the change when LingoLesson asks you to review the impact.

Important Details

• Hiding a course prevents students in that class from opening that course from their class page.
• Direct lesson links can still open visible lessons in a hidden course.
• Hiding a lesson prevents students from opening that lesson, even if the course is visible.
• When a hidden lesson is shown again, review any availability dates before students begin work.

Troubleshooting

• If students cannot see a lesson, check both course visibility and lesson visibility.
• If a direct lesson link stops working, confirm the lesson is visible for that class.
• If the course is not listed, assign the course to the class first.
