How do I delete a course?

Delete a Course

1. Sign in to LingoLesson with your teacher account.
2. In the teacher sidebar, find the course you want to delete.
3. Open the course action menu and select Delete Course.
4. Wait while LingoLesson loads the deletion impact.
5. Review the lessons, submissions, students, and linked assets shown in the confirmation dialog.
6. Type delete, then select Delete.

What Gets Removed

• The course and all lessons contained in it are deleted.
• Linked lesson assets, student submissions, submission assets, and teacher-feedback assets shown in the impact dialog are deleted.
• Students are removed from the course, but their LingoLesson accounts are not deleted.
• The course cannot be restored after deletion.

Before You Delete

• Copy the course if you want an editable backup in your account.
• Export submissions you need to keep.
• If you only want to disconnect the course from one class, unassign it instead.

Troubleshooting

• If LingoLesson says the course is assigned to a class, unassign it from every class and try again.
• The Delete button stays disabled until you type delete exactly as shown.
• Copies imported by or shared with another teacher are independent and are not deleted with your course.
