How do I share courses I have created with other teachers?

Share a Course

1. Sign in to app.lingolesson.com with your teacher account.
2. Open the teacher sidebar and find the course you want to share.
3. Open the course actions menu and select Share Course.
4. Copy the Import Code and PIN.
5. Send the import code and PIN to the teacher who should receive a copy.

Import a Shared Course

1. Sign in with the teacher account that should receive the course copy.
2. Open the teacher sidebar and select New Course.
3. Open Import course.
4. Enter the shared Import Code and PIN.
5. Select Import.

What Gets Copied

• The course name is copied into a new course in the importing teacher's account.
• Lessons are copied into the new course in the same order.
• Lesson media and text assets are copied into the importing teacher's storage area.
• Class assignments, student enrollments, submissions, scores, and feedback are not copied.

Copy a Course in Your Own Account

Use Copy Course when you want an independent copy of one of your own courses without sharing it with another teacher.

What Happens After Import

• The importing teacher can rename, edit, reorder, assign, duplicate, download, and delete their copied course like any other course they created.
• Changes made to your original course do not update existing copied courses.
• Changes made by the importing teacher do not affect your original course.
• If you regenerate the PIN, the old PIN stops working for future imports.
• Changing or regenerating the PIN does not delete, lock, or update copies that have already been imported.
• LingoLesson does not keep an import history for copied courses, so teachers can import the same shared course more than once if they need another copy.

Troubleshooting

• If the import code or PIN does not work, ask the course owner to send the latest values.
• If the copied course does not appear immediately, refresh the page and check the Courses section again.
