How Do I Use AI to Generate Lesson Items?

Generate a Lesson Item

Open a lesson in the lesson editor.
Open the add item dialog.
Choose the Generate tab.
Select whether you want to generate media or questions.
Set the learner level and language details requested by the dialog.
Choose the item type, such as text-to-speech media, multiple choice, matching, or another available AI question format.
Enter a clear prompt describing the topic, language target, and classroom goal.
Generate the item, review it, edit as needed, and save the lesson.

Include the target language, student level, grammar point, vocabulary set, and desired tone.
For dialogue media, describe the speakers and situation.
For question generation, check the correct answers and distractors before students see the activity.

If generation is unavailable, your account or organization may need AI add-on access. You can also import lesson items from a CSV template.
If the output is too broad, rewrite the prompt with a narrower topic and concrete constraints.
If generated audio sounds wrong, adjust the voice, speed, or script and generate again.
