How do I delete a class?

Delete a Class

1. Sign in to LingoLesson with your teacher account.
2. In the teacher sidebar, find the class you want to delete.
3. Open the class action menu and select Delete Class.
4. Wait while LingoLesson loads the deletion impact.
5. Review the affected students, assigned courses, submissions, and linked assets shown in the confirmation dialog.
6. Type delete, then select Delete.

What Gets Removed

• Students are removed from the class, but their LingoLesson accounts are not deleted.
• Assigned courses are unassigned from the class, but the courses and their lessons remain in your account.
• Class-linked submissions and associated submission or teacher-feedback assets shown in the impact dialog are deleted.
• The class cannot be restored after deletion.

Before You Delete

• Export submissions you need to keep.
• If only one student should leave, remove that student instead of deleting the class.
• If you want to keep the class but remove a course, unassign the course.

Troubleshooting

• The Delete button stays disabled until you type delete exactly as shown.
• If the class does not disappear immediately, refresh the teacher dashboard and check the sidebar again.
